Road work in Chula Vista next several days; may be traffic delays. 
Due to trolley and road construction, several streets in Chula Vista will be affected during the next few days. The schedule includes a full weekend closure at the intersection of Anita Street and Industrial Boulevard beginning at 10 p.m. Friday, October 10, through 6 a.m. Monday, October 13. This will allow iinstallation of underground utilities for the improvement of the Trolley Blue Line.
On Sunday night, October 12, there will be dig-out work on J Street between Bay Boulevard and Broadway. This will occur between 9:30 p.m. and 3:30 a.m.
Tuesday, October 14, chip sealing will occur on Fourth Avenue between H and J Streets and also on J Street between Bay Boulevard and Broadway. Chip sealing will be done between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes during the road work projects as there may be delays. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we bring improvements to Chula Vista roadways.
