A look back at the crimes reported in the Newhall area last week.
On Sunday the 5th, a burglary occurred and jewelry was stolen in the 25000 block of Avenida Balita.
Between Saturday the 20th, and Wednesday the 2nd, a burglary occurred in the 23400 block of Wildwood Canyon Road. An expensive watch was stolen and the victim may know who stole it.
On Saturday the 4th, between 6:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., a burglary occurred in the 24300 block of Peppermint Lane. The suspect entered through an unlocked window and took electronics.
On Friday the 3rd at 5:34 a.m., a business was burglarized in the 24700 block of Valley Street. A suspect was seen on surveillance video breaking the front window and entering the location.
Between Sunday the 28th, and Monday the 29th, a pick-up truck was burglarized on Valle Del Oro near Via Canon. A door lock was punched and a car stereo was stolen.
Between Sunday the 28th, and Monday the 29th, a red, GMC, “Yukon” was stolen from Newhall Avenue near Judah Lane. The vehicle has a “Steelers” sticker on the rear window and has not been recovered yet.
Remember to lock your doors and windows, don’t leave valuables in plain view, be aware of your surroundings, and report suspicious behavior.
