Update: Police Identify Victim and Continue to Investigate Monday's Shooting Death on Cross Brook Cove


Jackson police are continuing the investigation into the shooting death of Donna Green.

At 5:53 p.m. Monday, police were called about a shooting at 46 Cross Brook Cove. Green, 58, who lived at the home, was found dead inside from an apparent gunshot wound.

The preliminary investigation has revealed that Green was shot by her husband. Investigators do not have reason to believe the shooting was intentional.

The husband has been cooperative in this investigation. Police are not releasing the man's name because no charges have been filed at this time.

The investigation is ongoing, and upon completion, the findings will be presented to the District Attorney for review.
