Stevenson Ranch: Zone 3 Update - Public Safety and Crime Prevention Information

Crime Prevention Unit
Last week, the following Part 1 crime occurred in Zone 3 Stevenson Ranch:
A shoplift burglary occurred near the 25400 block of The Old Road. A male suspect exited the location, failing to pay for items he concealed in his pocket. The suspect was arrested by responding Santa Clarita Station deputies. Upon further investigation, an additional female suspect was arrested and both suspects were charged with receiving stolen property, narcotics violations and weapons violations. It was determined that the vehicle they were driving was also wanted in connection with a residential burglary committed in Newhall. The incidents are currently under investigation by Santa Clarita Station detectives.
A petty theft occurred near the 24900 block of Pico Canyon Road. An unknown suspect took over $100.00 from a night deposit box. The incident is currently under investigation.
