Special statement from Sheriff Keith A. Everhart 
On October 7th, 8th, and 9th the Hardin County Sheriff's Office will be conducting an in-service training at 13261 US Rt. 68, the old Rockwell parking lot. The training will consist of advanced driving tactics and advanced building clearing techniques. This training will begin at 7:00 a.m. each morning and will conclude at 6:30 p.m.
During training, Deputies will be operating their vehicles in emergency mode (overhead lights on) and this may be visible from US Rt. 68. The parking lot, however, will be a closed course and will be barricaded so no vehicles will be able to enter or leave the course during those hours.
