Traffic Crash in Volina Township


Cass County Sheriff Joseph M. Underwood Jr. reports that on 10/05/2014 at 0021 hrs his office was called to investigate a single motorcycle accident that occurred in Volina Township on Dewy Lake Street near Decatur Road. 38-year-old Marcellus resident, Keven Kinipp, was traveling West bound on Dewy Lake Street when he lost control of his motorcycle causing him lay down the motorcycle in roadway and flipping his motorcycle onto the shoulder of the roadway. Kinipp was transported by family members to Lakeview Hospital in Paw Paw for treatment. He is listed in critical condition at this time. A helmet was not worn. This case remains under investigation.
