Highland - Homicide Investigators are investigating a Homicide that occurred on Argyle Avenue early Saturday morning

LOCATION: 7100 block of Argyle Avenue, Highland
SUSPECT(S): Unknown
VICTIM: Edgar Smith, age 31 a resident of Highland
SUMMARY:
On Saturday, October 4, 2014 at approximately 12:43 a.m., deputies from the Highland Police Department responded to the report of shots heard in the 7100 block of Argyle Avenue in Highland. Upon arrival, deputies located an adult male in a vehicle, parked at a residence, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local area hospital where he was pronounced deceased at 1:34 a.m.
Investigators from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Detail responded to the scene and are currently conducting the investigation. The investigation is ongoing and no further information is available for release at this time.
