A missing person at risk from Santee has been found safe. 27-year-old Jennifer Klos was located in El Cajon around 6:15 p.m. She was not hurt, but was taken to a local hospital where she was treated for mild dehydration. Klos has now been reunited with her family.
The Sheriff's Department would like to thank the public for their assistance in the search for Klos, as well as our Search and Rescue (SAR) volunteers.
The Sheriff's Search and Rescue is an all-volunteer unit. Together, they perform wilderness and urban rescues, as well as search for missing and at-risk persons. Teams are available 24 hours a day to respond to local, state and federal agency requests.

Be on the lookout for 27-year-old Jennifer Klos. She is developmentally challenged with the mental capacity of a seventh grader.
Klos was last seen leaving her home in the 9300 block of Creekside Court in Santee at 7:30 a.m. on Friday, October 3rd. She was supposed to take a bus to Saint Madeleine Sophie's Center in El Cajon, but she never made it to school.
