Back to School “Coffee with a Cop” in Isla Vista on October 8th 
The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office is holding a back to school “Coffee with a Cop” event next Wednesday, October 8, from 10:00 a.m. till noon at the Starbucks located at 888 Embarcadero del Norte. Isla Vista students and residents are encouraged to come meet the Sheriff’s Deputies and University of California Police Officers who make up the Isla Vista Foot Patrol.
The back to school “Coffee with a Cop” event is a great opportunity for students and residents to get to know the officers who patrol their community and bring up any questions or concerns they may have at the beginning of the school year.
The Isla Vista Foot Patrol wishes to have a positive working relationship with the citizens it protects and serves and looks forward to the opportunity to have coffee and conversation with the Isla Vista community.
