Marathon Temporary Road & Lane closures
7:00am – 3:00pm

The 2014 Dirty South Marathon will begin on Sunday, October 12th at approximately 7:30am.

Just prior to the event the following roadway will close at 7:30am;
• Endome Bridge

The following roadways will be reduced to only ONE (1) lane of traffic, allowed to move in only ONE direction. The opposing lanes must take an alternate route;

• Trenton Street – The north bound lane will be closed to ALL traffic between Bridge St. & Arkansas Rd.
• Stella Over-Pass – The east bound lane will be closed between Jonesborro Rd. to N. 7th Street.

We would recommend that motorists avoid the following roadways which will remain open, however these areas will be part of the marathon route and will have excessive amounts of pedestrian traffic at intermittent times;

• Trenton Street
• Downing Pines Rd.
• Natchitoches St @ Trenton St.
• Natchitoches St. @ Mill St.

Motorists are being urged to avoid these areas on this date between the hours of 6:00am – 2:30pm. Pedestrian traffic on these roadways may be heavy at times as runners are traveling the course. Roadways and intersections will be closed periodically as runners approach these intersections.
