Cold Case Murder - Jane Doe

The Sheriff's Homicide Detail wants your help solving the murder of an unidentified young woman who was found dead nearly 40 years ago.

On February 14, 1978, a body was found along Proctor Valley Road near the San Miguel Ranch area of Chula Vista.

The Medical Examiner's Office found the cause of the young woman's death was poisoning. There were also signs of trauma to her body.

"Jane Doe" was a white female between 15 and 18 years old. Her right ear was deformed and smaller than her left ear.

Anyone with information on the identity of "Jane Doe" is urged to call the Sheriff's Homicide Detail at (858) 974-2321.
