Nicor has notified the Village of Westchester that they will be working in the area to replace indoor gas meters with outdoor meters. Nicor advised that residents will be notified via telephone or in person requesting access to the home and advise the homeowner where the outside meter will be placed. Each Nicor employee will have a Nicor ID badge identifying themselves. Only homes that have an indoor gas meter will be affected. Visit www.westchester-il.org for more information.
