Motorists Should Avoid using US 41 Friday Afternoon
Vanderburgh & Gibson Counties - Due to President Obama’s visit to Evansville and Gibson County this Friday, Indiana State Police strongly encourage motorists to avoid using US 41 during the afternoon hours. The portion of US 41 affected will be between central Vanderburgh County and central Gibson County.
Motorists should seek an alternate route. Motorists that choose to use US 41 Friday afternoon should expect delays.
Due to security issues, Indiana State Police will not release any additional information until Friday afternoon.
Motorists are encouraged to follow @ISPEvansville on Twitter or tune into local media to receive up to date traffic information for Friday afternoon.
