Monday, October 1, 2014, 5:25 p.m., the deceased newborn infant that was located this morning at Advance Disposal has been determined to be a female.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause and manner of death. The investigation is ongoing; no additional information is available at this time.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, Specialized Investigations Division, is investigating the body of a newborn baby found this morning at the Advance Disposal Company in Hesperia.
Deputies received a call at 8:09 A.M. regarding the body found at the disposal company. The Specialized Investigations Division is on scene and actively working the investigation.
