Full Notification

On 9-18-14, an armed robbery was committed at the Petco Unleashed store, 13411 Washington Blvd.  The suspect used a large chrome revolver and wore a bandana across his face to conceal his identity.

Using departmental resources, the investigating detective identified a suspect in the crime and obtained a search warrant for the suspect's residence.  The warrant was served and numerous items of evidence linking the suspect to the crime were recovered from his home.  That subject was placed under arrest for robbery, and later confessed to the crime.
