Following a successful series of News Literacy workshops at the Chula Vista Public Library, "Voice of San Diego" will hold the final three of its second series at the Civic Center Library, 365 F Street, Tuesdays, September 30, October 7, and October 14, from 6-7:30 p.m. The workshops focus on helping Chula Vistans become engaged citizen journalists - using social media to stay informed on current events and the upcoming election.

The series will culminate in a Candidate Forum at the Civic Center Branch Library on Thursday, October 16, at 6 pm, in which Chula Vistans can meet the candidates for District Four in the November School Board elections for the Sweetwater Union High School District. The public, including parents and high school students, are welcome to participate.
