Charges filed in case of bronze statue stolen from northwest Harris County community center 
(HARRIS COUNTY, TX) - Charges have been filed against a man in connection with the theft of a large bronze statue stolen last month from the Coles Crossing community center in northwest Harris County.
William Montgomery White, 39, has been charged with theft and is currently in the Harris County Jail on an unrelated charge. His photo is attached.
The large bronze statue, stolen from the community center in late August, was recovered by HCSO deputies in pieces from a scrap metal business.
It had been a fixture in the Coles Crossing community since the late 1990's.
