On September 29, 2014 at approximately 6:57 pm Officers of the Burlington Police responded to the intersection of Pine Street by Kilburn Street in the City of Burlington, Vermont for a report of a one vehicle crash with a bicyclist involved.
Officers would learn that a vehicle being operated by Shuyu Ren, was traveling out of a parking lot on the west side of Pine Street. At this time a male subject on a bicycle was riding south on Pine Street, transferring travel from the roadway to the sidewalk just prior to the crash.
The investigation is on-going, but speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash. The victim on the bicycle was treated on the scene by Burlington Fire Department Ambulance and transported to the FAHC for the treatment, and the driver of the car was not injured.
