AVOID the 1100 block of Shawano Av for the next several hours due to a car verses utility pole crash. 
The Green Bay Police Department advises you to AVOID the 1100 block of Shawano Av because of current street closure due to a vehicle crash. There were minor injuries reported, however, the main reason for the closure is due to a utility pole being hit, that caused power lines to obstruct traffic.
The street closure will cause traffic backups and detours for the next several hours.
The police department suggests that motorists use Dousman St or W Mason St as alternate routes.
According to WPS officials, this closure will last for most of this morning.
