The San Mateo Police Department Seeks Your Assistance in Locating a Missing 17 Year Old

Today on Friday, September 26, 2014 a 12:15PM, 17 year old Jordan Alexander Mann was reported missing by his family. Jordan sent a text message just after 12 PM apologizing to his family and making implied statements that tend to indicate he could be a danger to himself. SMPD is actively working to locate Jordan and is seeking the public's help in locating him.

Jordan is described as a 17-year-old black male, 6'1" tall, 195 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Currently the investigation tends to indicate that he may be in Santa Clara County, somewhere near the Los Trancos open-space. Santa Clara County Law Enforcement has been advised and are aggressively assisting SMPD in our efforts to locate Jordan. SMPD has already prepared a missing persons flyer for Jordan and we have distributed it to law enforcement agencies throughout the Bay Area and surrounding jurisdictions.

If anyone has information that can assist in our efforts to safely locate Jordan Mann, please contact SMPD as soon as possible. We are working now to obtain a current photo of Jordan and will distribute it to the public as soon as possible. It is at moments such as this that SMPD relies on our community to be our eyes and ears, so please don't hesitate to contact SMPD if you have information that you believe may help us to locate Jordan.
