The National City Police Department is joining the Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) nationwide Prescription Drug Take-back event on Saturday, September 27, 2014. This event allows community members to drop-off unwanted prescription medication. Individuals who want to dispose of prescription medication can drop them off in front of the following location:

National City Police Department
Plaza Bonita Community Storefront
3030 Plaza Bonita Rd.
National City, CA 91950

Between the hours of 10 AM – 2 PM

The NCPD Storefront is located on the east side of the mall, next to the bus stop area.

Prescription Drug Take Back Day provides an opportunity for the public to surrender expired, unwanted, or unused pharmaceutical controlled substances, and other medications to law enforcement agencies for destruction. No questions asked. We will not be accepting hypodermic needles. The program provides an opportunity for law enforcement to establish a safe collection site for all members of the community.
