Come one, come all, to the "Family Fun & Public Safety Day" being held today Saturday, September 27th between 1230 & 330pm @ the Mount Kisco Volvo Car Dealership located at 299 Kisco Avenue - Mount Kisco. (Kisco Ave exit - Exit # 37 off the Saw Mill Parkway)
Mount Kisco and Westchester County Police Officers will be on hand to discuss public safety and provide free of charge;
*Child ID Kits - Always a big hit with parents. Come pick up a Child ID Kit that you retain. Be prepared to furnish police at a minutes notice with specific items located within the kit that aid in the identification of your child, should your child go missing.
*Child Seat Installation Demonstrations. A big hit with parents - new & old. Learn how to properly install a car seat and safeguard your children as best as you can when traveling in a motor vehicle.
*K9 Tracking presentations. You & your children will be able to interact with a bloodhound. Learn the many ways bloodhounds assist police.
*Access to a Distracted Driver Simulator. Always a favorite with teens and adults. See first hand in a safe environment the dangers of driving while impaired or texting while operating a motor vehicle.
