McDowell County sheriff’s deputies are looking for a local man who went missing Thursday from Walker Road in Nebo.
Joseph Brian Swann, 42, of Mile Drive in Nebo, went ginseng hunting with a friend around 10:30 a.m. Thursday. His wife reported him missing shortly after midnight Friday when he never returned home. Swann’s friend last had radio contact with him at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
Swann is a white male who stands 5 feet, 10 inches tall and has brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information concerning Swann’s whereabouts is asked to call the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office at 652-2235 or the 911 communications center at 652-4000.
