Huntley PD to host DEA National Prescription Drug Take Back Day - Saturday, September 27 from 10:00am - 2:00pm at the Municipal Complex

The Huntley Police Department, in cooperation with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and other law enforcement agencies across the United States, will participate in a program to collect expired and unused prescription medications. The event will be held in front of the Huntley Police Department located at 10911 Main Street in Huntley, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 27. Anyone interested in disposing of such medications, may pull up to the front of the Municipal Complex and dispose of medications, into containers, monitored by a Huntley Police Officer. Liquids and syringes are unable to be accepted. Received medications are then sealed in containers and transported to collections sites for destruction by the DEA.
