At approximately 0243 am this morning, Rutherford County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to 261 Whiteside Road, Triple-L Trailer Park, in reference to a fight call.
When deputies arrived on scene, they located a subject with a stab wound to the chest.
The subject was later identified as Steven Brent Bridges,Jr.
Deputies were given the suspect information (William Anthony Miller) and located Miller in the drive way of lot 6, with the suspected weapon used in the assault, still in his hand.
Miller was taken into custody at that time.
The victim, Bridges, was transported to Rutherford Regional Hospital, where he later died.
Miller has been charged with murder and is being held at Rutherford County Detention Facility.
