Please avoid the area of the Mason St. bridge in Downtown Green Bay. At approximately 2:50PM two Green Bay Police Officers were involved in an accident with each other while responding to a seperate accident with injuries at Shawano Ave. and Oneida St. West bound traffic on the Mason St. bridge is still open, however traffic is being re routed onto S. Ashland Ave. and then back onto Mason St. This traffic delay is expected to last for a few hours.

The officers have been transported to a local hospital. The extent of their injuries is currently unknown.

Do not contact the shift commander as there is no other information available at this time. More information will be put out this evening once the accident has been investigated.
