Nicor experiencing "over ordorization" in natural gas supply. Call 815-467-2112 to report odors. 
Nicor is reporting an "over odorization" in the local natural gas supply. This issues may cause residents to smell natural gas (mercaptan additive) in or around their homes. Previously undetectable leaks may now be detectable because of the over odorization. Nicor is working on correcting the issue and "flaring off" the excess additive. Please call your fire protection agency to report the smell of natural gas.
