Stolen vehicle suspect arrested after short chase in Moses Lake (photo)
MOSES LAKE, Wash. (22SEPT2014) – An 18-year-old Moses Lake woman was arrested about 20 minutes after she allegedly stole a car this morning.
Brittany N. Strong was arrested by sheriff’s deputies after short pursuit through the Larson Community. She was driving a Chrysler 300 which had been reported stolen from 4815 Airway Drive about 15 minutes prior to Sheriff Tom Jones seeing the car and giving chase about 6:30 a.m.
During the chase, Strong struck a curb, flattening the right front tire on the Chrysler. A few minutes later Strong lost control and crashed into a fire hydrant at Mather Drive and Larson Blvd.
Strong was arrested shortly thereafter. She is lodged in the Grant County Jail on charges of theft of a motor vehicle, possession of a stolen vehicle and felony eluding police.
