LPD Drug Take-Back Event, Saturday, Sep 27th 10am-2pm
On Saturday, September 27th, the Lafayette Police Department, in cooperation with the Drug Enforcement Agency, will be conducting a “Drug Take-Back” program. People wishing to properly dispose of unused and unwanted medication can bring them to the Lafayette Police Training Center, located at 1301 South St. on Saturday the 27th from 10am to 2pm. This program collects pills, syrups and other medications that are unwanted. The “National Drug Take-Back Program” has had success in the past by disposing of medications that could potentially be abused.
