All clear in the 1400 block of 3rd Street. Two in custody for Theft of a Vehicle. Today at approximately 4:00 pm, Manhattan Beach Police Officers responded to the 400 block of 6th Place, on the report of a stolen vehicle that had just occurred. Upon arrival, officers saw the vehicle driving away with two suspects inside. Officers attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle and a short pursuit ensued. A traffic collision occurred at the intersection of 2nd Street and Meadows Avenue where one female suspect was taken in to custody, and a male suspect fled on foot. The male suspect was arrested approximately one hour later in the 1400 block of 3rd Street.
