On 9/17/2014 at approximately 8:00 am, detectives and deputies from the Sonoma County Sheriff’s office served three search warrants in the 300 block of Mountain View Avenue in Santa Rosa. The search warrants were related to marijuana cultivation at those residences.
Deputies seized approximately (90), 4-8 foot flowering marijuana plants. The plants were being grown both inside a large barn and outdoor on the property. Found during the search at one of the residences was two assault rifles, and a handgun. At another residence deputies located a 12 gauge shotgun and $17,000 in cashier’s checks and $8000 in US currency.
Arrested was Pedro Gomez Perez, 55 years old, Juan Silva 25, Margarita Soto 60 and Juan Chavez, 35. The suspects were booked into the Sonoma County Jail with the charges of Cultivation of marijuana, Possession of marijuana for sale, Operating a house for drug sales and Conspiracy.
