Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male adult that occurred on Monday, September 15, 2014, in the 12700 block of Rexton Street, Norwalk. 

Detectives have learned that Norwalk Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to the 12800 block of Rexton Street at approximately 3:45 P.M., regarding a “person down” call.  Upon arrival, deputies saw paramedics treating a man with a gunshot wound.  Witnesses told detectives they heard arguing and a gunshot coming from a residence on Rexton Street.  Witnesses stated they then saw the victim walk from the rear of the location towards Rexton Street.  The victim continued eastbound before collapsing approximately one block from the residence. 

There is no suspect(s) information available at this time. 

The investigation is still on going.
