Incidents 314 Reports 41

 

#008 Possession of Stolen Property Arrest

Officer Settle initiated a pedestrian stop on a 39-year-old adult male, transient who was walking in the middle of Union St.  The male was extremely intoxicated and found to be in possession of a stolen backpack.  The victim arrived at the scene and identified his property.  The 39-year-old adult male was booked at Santa Rita for possession of stolen property and a probation violation.

Warrant Arrest

Officer Dotson arrested a 25-year-old adult male for an outstanding warrant after he made a scene in the police lobby.    

#029 Residential Burglary

CSO Allen investigated a residential burglary that was reported on Merlot Drive.  The same suspects were seen attempting to break into a house earlier in the day on Pinot Blanc.  These two incidents occurred in the neighborhood off Scott Creek where the neighborhood and several of the residents have video surveillance cameras.  The suspect’s vehicle license plate was captured on video, which officers ran and learned was a stolen white Honda Accord out of San Jose.  The victim’s credit cards were used after the incident at a retailer in San Jose.  CSO Allen and officers are continuing their efforts to identify the suspects responsible.

#039 DUI Collision Arrest

Officers were dispatched to a report of a car that had crashed into two parked cars in the Chili’s parking lot at the Hub.  Sergeant Pace was the first on scene and immediately noted that the driver of the suspect vehicle was under the influence of a controlled substance.  He was subsequently detained and admitted to EMS personnel that he had consumed some LSD.  The 43-year-old adult male was arrested for driving while under the influence.  Officer Oliveria was the investigating officer.

#043 DUI Collision Arrest

Officer Soper was detailed to the area of Paseo Padre Pkwy and Grimmer Blvd. regarding a traffic collision.  One of the drivers, an adult male, was found to be intoxicated and was arrested for drunk driving.

Parking:

Community Service Officers Goralczyk and Anders conducted parking enforcement in the Stanford Ln./Vineyard Hills area of Mission Peak from 7 - 10 a.m., which resulted in the issuance of 25 citations for various FMC and vehicle code violations.

#011 False Report of Possible Kidnapping & Dead Body

At about 9:30 a.m., a female contacted FPD and stated she had been tied-up and held against her will inside a warehouse on Albrae St.  The female identified the suspect and stated she was able to escape.  The female added that two other subjects were currently tied-up inside the business and that a dead body was also inside a freezer.  The entire shift responded and a perimeter was immediately established.  A male, who the female identified as one of the victims, exited the business and was contacted.  The male stated three subjects were inside the business, but none were victims of a crime.  The male gave consent to search his business.  Contact was made with three subjects inside the business who exited the same.  The business was searched without incident.  In the end, the original reporting person was sent for a mental evaluation.  Officer Dias documented the incident.  Sgt. Samayoa was the Incident Commander and Sgt. Fowlie handled Tactical Command.  (Service reductions were in place for approximately 90 minutes).

#010 - 4700 block of Calaveras St. (’00 Acura Integra).

#013 - 4400 block of Stevenson Bl. (’96 Nissan Sentra).

#025 Public Intoxication Arrest

Officer Hernandez made a pedestrian stop at Thornton Ave and Dusterberry Way and arrested a 41-year-old adult male for being drunk in public.

#020 Gun Call – Airsoft Rifles and Handguns

Officers responded to the 39600 block of Wall Common for the report of two males carrying rifles and walking through the apartment complex.  Upon arrival, it was discovered that the males had realistic looking Airsoft rifles and handguns. 

#001 Possession of a Controlled Substance

Officer Stillitano conducted a traffic stop and arrested a 36-year-old adult male for possession of about 5 grams of Meth and a 25-year-old adult male for driving on a suspended license.

#006 DUI Arrest

Officer J. Harvey conducted a traffic stop and arrested a 62-year-old adult male for driving under the influence.

#005 Felony Warrant and Possession of Meth Arrest

Officers were dispatched to Motel 6 (south) for a report of a domestic disturbance.  A 32-year-old adult male was intoxicated and trying to force his way into his motel room to contact his girlfriend. A record check on the male revealed he had an outstanding felony warrant out of San Jose. The male fled in his vehicle prior to police arrival, but Sgt. Lambert soon located the vehicle abandoned at the north end of Research Ave. A perimeter was established and K9 Handler Macciola and his new partner K9 Warco began to search the area. The adult male was located hiding alongside a building by K9 Warco. The 32-year-old adult male surrendered and was arrested without incident. Officer Piol booked the male for his warrant and for possession of Meth.

Parking:

CSO Anders conducted parking enforcement in the Stanford Ln./Vineyard Ave. area of Mission Peak from 8:15 a.m. – 10:15 a.m., which resulted in the issuance of 21 citations for various FMC and vehicle code violations.

#010 Warrant Arrest

Officer Dias conducted a warrant service on the 42200 block of Blacow Rd. and arrested an adult male for his outstanding vandalism warrant.

#009 Public Intoxication

Officer Weber responded to Food Maxx and arrested an adult male for being drunk in public.  

Auto Theft:

#011 - 48100 block of Leigh St. (’97 Honda Accord)

#036 Possession of a Controlled Substance

Officer Chan conducted a traffic stop and arrested a 28-year-old adult male for possession of steroids. 

#001 DUI Arrest

Officer Chahouati conducted a traffic stop on a 36-year-old adult male.  During the stop he observed symptoms of the driver being under the influence. Officer O’Neal and FTO Romley took over the investigation and arrested the driver for DUI.

#002 Driving without a License

Officer Chahouati conducted a traffic stop and arrested a 51-year-old adult male for driving without a license.

#003 Possession of a Controlled Substance Arrest

Officer Chahouati conducted a traffic stop on a 28-year-old adult male driver. Prior to yielding, the male tossed a replica handgun and methamphetamine outside his driver window. The evidence was recovered and the male was arrested.
