On 9/14/2014, at about 1:13 A.M, the Chula Vista Police Dispatch Center received calls regarding a group of people fighting near Broadway Avenue and Davidson Street. During the fight, a suspect described as a Black male in his 20s removed a handgun from a vehicle and shot at another vehicle as it left the area. The victim’s vehicle was struck in the rear and no occupants were injured.

After shooting at the Victim’s vehicle, the suspect entered another vehicle and started chasing the victim. The suspect’s vehicle struck the rear of the victim’s vehicle in the 700 block of E Street. The suspect’s vehicle then struck another uninvolved vehicle and the suspect’s vehicle was last seen entering Interstate 5 North.

Near Broadway Avenue and Davidson Street, officers located and recovered evidence of a possible shooting. At this time, the identity of the suspect is unknown and the investigation continues.
