Linton (Greene County) - Internet Crimes Against Children Detectives of Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department and the Indiana State Police Cyber Crimes Unit along with the FBI, executed a search warrant at 58 North Main Street in Linton Wednesday morning regarding a child pornography investigation.
Donald P. Turpen, 79, of Sullivan, was arrested on five felony counts of dissemination of child pornography and five felony counts of possession of child pornography. Turpen was incarcerated at the Greene County Jail on those charges.
The Indiana State Police stress the filing of criminal charges is only the beginning of the judicial process and the Defendant is presumed innocent until and unless guilt is proven in court.
