The City of Jackson Engineering Department has authorized the temporary road closure, of two- lanes of New Market Street (in front of the Farmers Market main office) from College Street to Lafayette Street, on Friday, September 20, 2014, from 4:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. The closure is for "The Throw down Concert - The AMP," music starts at 7:30 p.m. and sponsored by Jackson Downtown Development Corporation (JDDC) and Thomas Media.
