09/02/14 WTPD arrested a male, age 26, of Washington NJ, for maintaining a nuisance. Patrol was dispatched to the Railroad Ave Apts., Washington Borough for a public assistance call. After the call as officers were attempting to leave the male became upset with the officer because of the information that he had provided. He then became belligerent and disorderly. He was then issued a summons for a local ordinance for maintaining a nuisance and released with a court date.

09/03/14 WTPD arrested a female, age 32, of Washington NJ, for aggravated assault on a police officer and resisting arrest. She was being released from police custody after receiving charges for disorderly conduct and a local ordinance for maintaining a nuisance. Upon her release she spit on an officer and then resisted being taken back into custody. She was lodged in the WC Jail in lieu $2500.00 bail.

09/03/14 WTPD arrested a male, age 29, of Doylestown Pa, for contempt of a judicial order. Patrol was dispatched to a report of an erratic motor vehicle traveling west bound on SH 57 East towards Washington Township. When patrol stopped the vehicle further investigation revealed that the male was in violation of the judicial order. He was lodged in the WC Jail in lieu of $2500.00 bail.

09/04/14 WTPD arrested a male, age 35, of Bolingbrook IL, for simple assault and criminal mischief. He was processed and released with a court date.

09/04/14 WTPD arrested a male, age 31, of Washington NJ, for burglary and theft. He was processed and lodged in the WC Jail in lieu of $5000.00 bail.

09/05/14 WTPD arrested a female, age 21, of Washington NJ, for simple assault. She was processed and released with a court date.

09/05/14 WTPD arrested a male, age 22, of Newton NJ, for a $750.00 warrant out of Washington Township. He was processed and lodged in the WC Jail in lieu of bail.

09/06/14 WTPD arrested a female, age 38, and a male, age 39 both of Broadway NJ for maintaining a nuisance. Patrol was dispatched to the Shop Rite on Clubhouse Dr. Washington Township for unwanted persons. The officer’s investigation revealed that the female and male were disorderly inside and outside the store and refused to leave when asked by management. Both were issued a local ordinance summons and released with a court date.

09/07/14 WTPD arrested a male, age 19, of Hackettstown NJ, for entering the park after hours. Patrol came upon the male at the Oxford Furnace Lake, Oxford Township while on routine patrol. He was issued a summons for a local ordinance for maintaining a nuisance and released with a court date.

09/07/14 WTPD responded to the area of Midtown Municipal Parking Lot and East Church St. in Washington Borough for the report of a black bear. Officers chased the bear and prevented it from entering the Washington Borough Music Festival. Officers were able to redirect the animal towards a wooded area in the southeast section of the Borough and Washington Township border.

09/0714 WTPD arrested a male, age 34, and another male, age 39 both of Washington NJ for disorderly conduct and maintaining a nuisance. Patrol was dispatched to School St. and Hill St. in Washington Borough for a report of two men fighting. The officer’s investigation revealed that both men had engaged in a fight in the middle of the street. Both men were issued summonses and released with a court date.

09/08/14 WTPD arrested a male, age 26, of Washington NJ, for a NCIC hit out of Warren County NJ. He was additionally charged with obstruction of the administration of justice and hindering apprehension. He was processed and released to the WC Sheriff’s Department.

09/09/14 WTPD arrested a male, age 49, of Columbia NJ, for an outstanding $343.00 warrant out of Roxbury Township NJ. He was stopped for a moving motor vehicle violation. The male was processed, issued several motor vehicle summonses and released with a court date.

09/09/14 WTPD arrested a female, age 41, of Washington NJ, for an operation of a motor vehicle, during a period of suspension, for driving while intoxicated (DWI). She was involved in a no injury motor vehicle accident and the investigation revealed that her driving privileges were suspended for a DWI offense. The female was processed, issued several motor vehicle summonses and lodged in the WC Jail in lieu of bail.
