Advisory

Seminole Co. Man Likely Not a Homicide Victim

After closer inspection of a body found in rural Seminole County Tuesday morning, investigators believe Justin Hinkle is likely not a victim of homicide. However, the medical examiner's office has not yet determined a cause or manner of death. The 24-year-old's body laid in a rural area near Konawa for nearly a week before family members found him. Investigators believed at the scene that the condition of the body was consistent with homicide. Even though investigators believe Hinkle was likely not a murder victim, they continue to work the case to determine why his body was found in the remote area and consider his death suspicious. The medical examiner will perform toxicology and other testing to pinpoint how Hinkle died.
