Join the City of Artesia to Commemorate Patriot's Day at 12:00 pm on September 11, 2014, at 12:00 pm. 
Join us as we remember the occurrences of September 11, 2001 with a ceremony at the Artesia Veterans Memorial. The ceremony will include insights from first responders and the community. Light refreshments will be served after the program.
Guest speakers will include Mayor Tony Lima, Captain Keith Swensson, newly appointed Commander of Lakewood Sheriff's Station, and Assistant Chief Chris Jackson from the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
