APD is on the scene of at least two reported traffic accidents on IH-40 near Western Street and Georgia Street. An ambulance has been dispatched to at least one accident. There is no information about injuries. The initial call information is that one involves a vehicle striking a guard rail, the other is a two vehicle accident. Traffic is at a standstill between Western and Washington, drivers may wish to avoid westbound IH-40. There is no estimate on how much time it will take to restore traffic flow at this time.
