The Norton Shores Police Department responded to an alarm at 1:15 AM at Shoreline Shooters, 3129 Fairfield. Upon arrival the officers found a door had been kicked in. The inside of the store was searched but no one was found inside. The owner checked the inventory and found that seven handguns were taken with a total loss of over $3000.00.
Muskegon County Sheriff K9 Deputy Ottinger was called to assist. The suspect was tracked from the building to the east, but the track was lost on the east side of Seaway drive.
