The Monterey Park Police Department will be hosting a Pet Licensing/Vaccination Clinic.
The City of Monterey Park in conjunction with the Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control will hold a low-cost vaccination and licensing clinic for dogs on Saturday, September 20, 2014, 8:00 am to 11:00 a.m., at Barnes Park 350 S. McPherrin Avenue (near the tennis courts).
The licensing for dogs in Monterey Park is mandatory and the license is valid for one year from the date of issue. While at the clinic, all dogs must have a collar and be on a leash or in a carrier.
These prices are valid only during the Monterey Park licensing and vaccination clinic.
Vaccination clinic price list:
Rabies vaccine: $10.00 (dogs 4 months and older).
DHLPP vaccine: $14 (dogs 8 weeks and older).
Bordetella vaccine: $15 (dogs 8 weeks and older).
AVID Microchips, for dogs and cats, will also be available at the clinic. The cost is $15.00 which includes life-time registration.
Pet licenses may be purchased at the clinic after the pet is inoculated.
Annual (one year) pet license:
Unaltered dog: $40.00
Altered dog: $20.00 (with proof).
Only cash or checks will be accepted.
