Cocaine Arrests

Kenitha T. Washington, age 43, of Long Branch, NJ
NARRATIVE:
On September 3, 2014, detectives from the Ocean Twp. Criminal Investigation Bureau observed a 2006 Kia Sorrento improperly changing lanes on Sunset Avenue. A motor vehicle stop was initiated on Sunset Avenue to address the violation.
Upon making contact with the operator of the vehicle, William W. Warren, detectives found him to be in possession of “crack” cocaine. Further investigation at the scene determined that there was additional crack cocaine in the vehicle and the passenger, Kenitha T. Washington, was also placed under arrest. Washington was also found to be in possession of a crack pipe.
Warren and Washington were transported to the Ocean Twp. Police Department for processing. Warren was charged with possession of cocaine. Washington was charged with possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were released on a complaint summons pending a future court date.
