On Monday September 8th at 2:30am, APD officers were on routine patrol in the area of 2700 Virginia. Officers observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation and stopped the vehicle in the 1900 block of Civic. They identified the occupants and checked them for any outstanding warrants. One passenger was found to have several outstanding warrants for their arrest. Jimi Adan Gallegos W/M 22 was arrested and booked into the Randall County Jail on outstanding warrants, Assault by Contact out of Amarillo. The following warrants are all out of New Mexico, Child Abuse; Aggravated Battery against a household member causing great bodily harm; False Imprisonment; Interfering with communication obstructing the sending of a message; Criminal damage over $1,000; Assault against a Household member – attempt to commit battery; and Fail to appear on a traffic charge.
