Law enforcement has been searching for 31-year-old Lofton Gray, Jr. ever since his girlfriend was found dead Friday inside the Chickasha home the two shared. OSBI agents and Chickasha Police were alerted to a report of a stolen vehicle found in Gallup, New Mexico, Saturday night. That vehicle was a 1991 white Jeep Cherokee Gray was last known to be driving. New Mexico State Police were called to a road rage incident about 8:30 p.m. where Gray reportedly threw a crow bar at a motorist. That motorist allegedly struck Gray with his vehicle. Gray was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. An OSBI agent flew to Gallup today to interview Gray about Amanda Cecil's death. Once Gray is released from the hospital, New Mexico police will place him under arrest for possession of a stolen vehicle.
