DTE update for the City of Livonia, 22,000 homes have been effected 
The severe storm that occurred September 5th caused numerous downed and damaged trees throughout the City of Livonia and resulted in power outages to 20,000 of the City's 38,000 homes, according to DTE Energy.
Residents are reminded to stay clear of downed power lines or anything a power line may be touching, such as a fence.
Please report any downed lines or trees blocking roadways by calling the Livonia Police Department at (734) 466-2470. Livonia Firefighters have been out all night assisting DTE in attending to downed power lines.
