Sheriff Joseph M. Underwood Jr. reports that on 9-5-2014 at about 1734 hr his office was called to Jefferson Township for a personal injury crash that occurred on M-60 near Library Rd. 32 yr old Niles resident, Vallisue Grice, and her passenger 25 yr old Niles resident Shaun Adlesperger were traveling on M 60 when a tree blew over onto their vehicle. Mr. Adlesperger was transported to Lakeland Hospital with minor injuries. It is believed that seat belts were worn and that alcohol is not a factor. This case remains under investigation.
