On Friday, September 5, 2014, South Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station will be hosting the “SHARE” (‘Stop-Hate-and-Respect-Everyone’) Tolerance Trailer located at 1700 West 107th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90044, between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

On Saturday, July 12, 2014, an innocent bystander was shot in the face while sitting in her car waiting outside a “Little Caesar’s Pizza” Restaurant, located at 10714 South Western Avenue, Los Angeles. The suspect(s) are still outstanding.  This location has been identified as a place where gang members have been known to loiter and create issues for businesses and the community. 

Today, Sheriff’s personnel will have several different resources and support agencies available to assist the community members who have been victims of crimes.  A Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Explorer recruiting booth will be available to the community as well as the following public services:

•             “Casa de la Familia” counseling services for victims of crimes. 

•             Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health Services.

•             Health Right 360- Non Profit organization for transitional housing

•             Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office Victim and Witness       Program (tentatively).
