King Manning, of Marion, charged with stealing scuba gear and other items from Old Fort home
Detective Andy Manis of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged King David Manning Jr., 29, of South McDowell Avenue in Marion, with one felony count each of breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering and possession of stolen goods.
On July 23, Russell James Fisher, of Jonas Ridge, reported that someone entered a house on Executive Estates Drive in Old Fort and stole more than $6,000 worth of property, including numerous pieces of scuba gear, a case of wine, a jewelry box, coins, a TV, luggage, power tools, men’s mouth braces and a speaker system.
Manis said he received information that Manning possibly had the stolen goods and located most of the property.
Additional arrests are pending.
