Full Notification

On Thursday 09-04-14 approximately 0720 am Sachse officers responded to the report of a suspicious person at Joe Stone Park. It was reported that a white male, possibly in his early twenties, was standing in the park possibly in his underwear. Officers were on scene within two minutes, but the subject had left the area. It was later determined that the incident had occurred approximately 5 to 10 minutes prior to the police being notified. The subject is believed to have left the area in a large, white box van, similar to what is used by moving companies.

It is not believed, at this time, that the subject made contact with anyone or committed any offense(s). Officers did check the surrounding area, neighborhood and schools, but were unable to locate the subject or his vehicle. Police do have a lead and are following up on the incident just as a precaution.
